Dimensions are the injector. The control panel is a separate wall-mounted enclosure with mains lead, on/off and ozone indicators, fuse holder and monitor bypass socket. Supplied with power lead and fused 3-pin plug, 6mm clear tube with clips, and push-on pitot tubes. Duct connection 100mm circular. Electrical supply 240V, 1-ph, one supply per injector. Optional external ozone sensor: 200L x 150W x 95H, weatherproof cabinet, detection level adjustable to meet local guidelines.
Understanding System Performance in Real Applications
How it's works
Ozone is generated by corona discharge inside the injector and fed into the canopy plenum or the first section of ductwork through a 100mm spigot, where it oxidises the compounds that carry cooking odour.
The control panel samples pressure in the extract duct through a push-on pitot tube and a 6mm clear tube, tapped upstream of the extract fan so the switch reads negative pressure. As air volume rises the panel raises injector output, and as it falls the output drops back. That keeps the concentration high enough to break down the odour particulate without running the injectors harder than the airflow needs, which is where the energy saving over a fixed-output system comes from.
Where an external ozone sensor is fitted it connects to the sensor lock on the unit by the data cable supplied. Where one is not fitted, the bypass plug has to be in place for the unit to run

Is the EXS200 or EXS400 suitable for my type of commercial kitchen?
It suits kitchens with a varying load, which covers most restaurants, hotels and pub kitchens where the extract runs all day but only cooks hard at service. Up to 1.9 m3/s takes the EXS200 and up to 3.8 m3/s takes the EXS400. Above that, more injectors run from the same panel.
