How it's works
Air is drawn in by the unit's own double-inlet centrifugal blower and pre-filtered before passing through the electrostatic collection cell. Particulates from 0.01 to 10 microns are electrically charged at 12KVDC and drawn onto oppositely charged collection plates at 6KVDC, capturing dust, oil mist and fume at up to 95% efficiency with a low, stable pressure drop — so airflow doesn't fall away as the cell loads, the way it does with disposable media. The high-frequency solid-state power supply is self-regulating, with short-circuit and arc protection, auto-restore, an automatic cut-off when the door is opened, and an LED indicator that tells you when the cell needs washing.

Suitable for individual machine tools and single-cell workstations — CNC, milling, turning, grinding and EDM — where oil mist and fine particulate need capturing at source.
Self-contained: the integrated blower removes the need for a separate extract fan, making it well suited to retrofits, leased units and sites with no existing extract provision.

Is the RB700 suitable for my application?
The RB700 suits single machine tools, individual workstations and small production areas where the extract requirement sits at or below 700 CMH — CNC and machine shops, welding bays, grinding and polishing cells, workshops, laboratories and light assembly lines. Suitability depends on the contaminant type, the volume of air being handled, duty cycle and discharge location. We assess these before recommending a unit. For higher volumes, the RB1000 or our ducted RY range will be the better fit.
