Extechnology a retro fit solution for the Hilton, Reading

Extechnology were contracted to supply and install five EXE 12-lamp units as a retro fit solution to the odour problems being experienced at the Hilton in Reading.

The initial specification called for UV to be included in the original build but due to cost constraints the UV was omitted.  Once the Hotel opened its doors and the restaurant began to trade complaints regarding the odour became an issue and a solution needed to be found. 

The solution needed to minimise disruption to the kitchen, needed to be maintenance friendly and needed to make use of the existing infrastructure. 

The Extechnology application met all the required criteria and Extechnology was awarded the contract beating more traditional applications including prominent ‘inline' suppliers as well as inferior ozone generating applications. 

The Hilton in Reading is no longer experiencing odour problems since the installation of the Extechnology odour control solution.
