At the point of discharge a decision has to be made with what to do with the clean air? There are two choices:
1.
The first choice is to emit the clean, warm air out into the atmosphere.
2.
The second and perhaps the most cost effective choice would be to recycle the air back into the contained environment.
To recycle this valuable, warm and clean air Extechnology have developed a heat recovery unit, which can be connected to the Exodour unit.
The system involves the use of a refrigeration circuit to enable heat energy to be recovered from the clean exhausted air after the odour has been removed.
Up to 100% of the surplus energy from the air can be recovered and transferred to another medium, e.g. a hot water tank. This could have a considerable savings for a company’s annual heating costs.
